Holiday 2010

Well, it has been awhile since my last post. I am going to blame that on the craziness and chaos of the holiday season. As usual we tried to cram as much in, in the shortest amount of time. We had to do all our normal traditional activities, plus a few new ones. We had family over for the holidays which always makes it extra special. I hope you enjoy our holiday in review.
Cassie ready for her school's Christmas party.

Lily as a sheep for her Christmas play. Of course she was the only one of 3 lambs to Baa.

I wish they could be like this all the time.

Bambi had to be in a picture because he goes everywhere with Cassie and is now a member of the family.

Lily had talked about Santa for weeks. She has never had a problem with the jolly fellow in the past, but this year she wanted nothing to do with the bearded man. Thus the reason for her face and me in the picture.

The von Trapp family.

The Meskel family.

This is why you shouldn't let your big sister put a tattoo on you. Of course it had to be one that actually stuck and wouldn't come off. Great for holiday photos!

After 7 tries, here it is folks. 3 generations and friends.

As you can tell, reindeers were a theme. Who is obsessed with deers?

Nick with his obsession for Bey Blades. Another name for fancy spinning tops.

Grandpop giving Nick a little shove.

Daddy and the girls on top of the world.

Who you calling monkey?

Apparently monkey is not happy that daddy is sitting on her snowman.

Shaved ice anyone?

Cassie busy doing snow angels.

After a busy day of driving and sledding we needed to stop at Grandpop's  picnic area for a rest. Not really. Meskel and Mescal...close enough.

Preschool

Here are a few pics from Lily's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. She was so excited that her brother and sister were there with her to celebrate. She has been so many times to their events now it was her time.

Nice face Lily!!!

Monkey Business

Have I mentioned that Lily LOVES monkeys????????

The Girls......and Daddy

While Nick was at Disneyland for a friend's birthday, we took the girls out for a day of fun. Of course this consisted of a train ride, the merry-go-round, lunch and creating your own cupcake.

Lily's creation

Cassie's creation Hello Kitty with a body. She of course had to add that detail.

To Go!

The pictures speak for themselves. Must I say more!!!!

Lets Dance

Is someone trying to give us the hint that she wants to start dance?

Well we know now that she is coordinated.

A Fall Bike Ride

Even though I am still waiting for a brisk Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving season, it was nice to grab the kids for a bike ride along the beach. Lily is a little devil on the bike. I think at 3 she would do fine without training wheels, but for my sanity they are staying on.
